May Morris, daughter of William Morris, looked after the Embroidery areas of her father’s Arts and Crafts business from the 1890’s.
Our project of three roses with leaves is worked in Au ver a soie, Silk Perle threads which are a pleasure to stitch with.
This piece is worked in six surface stitches. Each stitch will be taught in class and the student will need to finish this piece at home. Extensive notes will be provided.
Design size is 16cm x 14cm
About The TutorSue loves embroidery and trying as many techniques as she can.
Classes in Wanaka or Dunedin with insufficient enrolments will be canceled and class participants reallocated to one of their other choices.
