DUN01 - Tudor Rose Knot Garden
14 Mar 2019: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Course Fee: NZD $140 (Non-guild Member)
The inspiration for this workshop has come from my love of the intricate patterns and plants of the Tudor gardens, the concept of a knot garden first emerging in Elizabethan England. Elizabethan knot gardens were designed to mimic the beautiful embroidery designs which were associated with that period in British history.
This workshop allows you to recreate a typical knot garden using techniques and stitches from the Elizabethan period.
