Butler's Tray Cloth
This mat has Reticella corners set in four-sided stitch borders. The hem is Peahole hemstitch and mitred corners will be taught. This mat can be any size and is an ideal learning piece.
The original Tray Cloth was made to fit my Butlers tray which measures 315mm x 425mm, but this cloth can be made to any size or shape. The depth of the hem turnover is your choice, I will teach you how to mitre the corners. All four corners could have a Reticella motif or only one, again the choice is yours.
