I love the composition of this project - it really makes embroidery fun, which it should be!!.
There is plenty of scope to fulfil your own creative spirit and try something a little different.
I love to experiment with new stitches so hopefully there will be something new for all.
Needle-lace stitches include: - corded buttonhole , triple knotted buttonhole, creative knotted buttonhole stitch and looped buttonhole stitch, and of course "Burden stitch" to create the fabric for his trousers!! just to name a few
You will cover 3 or 4 different techniques to gain relief whether it be padded, raised from the back, or worked separately and then added to the background.
Creative gold for his fly away hair!!, those amazing little fingers, and of course his uni-cycle.
A wonderful journey for the embroiderer looking for something a little different with some new challenges!!
